Raindrops on roses
June in Seattle means two things: raindrops and roses.
Time marches on and roses seem to bloom in June no matter what the weather is like. Even though spring seems about a month behind in terms of daily temperatures, the roses are coming on strong. And today’s “atmospheric river” provided plenty of raindrops. So we have a quintessential favorite thing.

I used Raw Therapee for raw conversion and basic edits, ending with the GIMP for resizing and watermark. I used the workflow described in: Photo processing workflow: preparing photos to use on the web using open-source software.
Oh those raindrops make these roses special. 😀 😀
