These images show reflections in the Mihe River in Shouguang, Shandong Province, China. I love walking in Shouguang’s beautiful parks, especially this one along the river. This post also has some photos from the Mihe River park.
The Mihe is placid in these photos, but typhoon rains occasionally covered most of the riverside walkways and bridges you see here with flood water. The quaint houses and arched pedestrian bridge were removed as part of a flood control project.
My son reports that the project is complete now. I’d love to go back to see it.
